FLY UX AIRLINE APP
As a part of my Professional Diploma in UX Design @ UX Design Institute I have carried out all steps of the UX design process and designed app prototype based on my research and analysis. The whole process has been broken down into many steps before starting to work on the prototype which allowed me to create a mobile app that is easy to use and it takes all user's pain points and needs into concern.
RESEARCH
COMPETITIVE BENCHMARKING
Competitive benchmarking is an great research technique that helps researcher to identify what the competitors are doing right, and learn from what they are doing wrong.
For this project, I have reviewed four websites or four mobile apps to gain some insights on how best to design my own airline app.
Objectives:
• Learn how best-in-class websites and apps solve the problems we are trying to solve
• Understand the conventions we should follow
• Highlight best practice that we should emulate
ANALYSIS
AFFINITY DIAGRAM
Affinity diagram is a very important project in the UX as it helps us sort large volume of data we gathered in the research and organize it to help us with further analysis, defining pain points, positive and negative experiences etc.
Objectives:
• Review your research, taking notes as you do. Use those notes to create an affinity diagram.
• Learn how to put structure on qualitative research data
• Learn the power of collaborative analysis
On this project I have worked with my classmates Carol Carew & Ashley Loftus.

CUSTOMER JOURNEY MAP
Customer journey map captures the typical journey of one customer and helps us gather all research data inton one structured document.
For each step I have documented the goals of the user, pain points, and any behaviours that the website was not facilitating.
Each step of the experience I assessed as positive or negative, including some user quoutes.

FLOW DIAGRAM
Flow diagram defines primary user flow for booking flights on the mobile app.

DESIGN
INTERACTION DESIGN
Objectives
• Build on the flow diagram you created in the previousproject and sketch the screens and screen states for users flowing through the Fly UX mobile app
• Address all the issues and user goals identified in yourresearch and analysis
• Learn how to use sketching as a tool for problem solving
• Learn how sketching is a vital step before prototypingor digital wireframing

WIREFRAMES
Wireframes define all the extra details that developers need to build the product accurately.
